About Golden Oldies Motor Club

PDFPrintE-mail

The club was formed by a group of motor heads in the early '90s that wanted nothing more than to show off their vehicles and gather with other car nuts.
Cruise Nights were originally held at Hammond Square (the old mall), then moved to Hobby Lobby on HWY 190 in Hammond. Because of our members' great passion for old cars and helping the community, our club continues to grow. So much so that we outgrew the Hobby Lobby location and now hold our Cruise Nights back at Hammond Square (or on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hammondsquare).
Many thanks to Amy Allen with Stirling Properties for supplying the area to hold our monthly Cruise Nights and annual Cars For Kids Show and for her/their generous support during each event.
GOMC would also like to send a big thanks to Santa Fe Cattle Co. for catering such great food and, as of the 2013 season, becoming the major sponsor of our Cruise Nights!
So, if you get a chance to cruise into the Hammond area between March and November on any second Saturday of those months, please make sure to stop by and enjoy the beautiful cars, good oldies rock 'n' roll music, great food, and great camaraderie at one of our Cruise Nights!
GOMC is a non-profit organization affiliated with Cars for Kids, Southern Style Inc. and dedicated to helping raise money for children in need.
